Reseller package - Reseller hosting - Fasthosts

Never used them before, any info on backend ease of use, reliability etc would be great.

Unlimited for £50 a month

Otherwise I might go with Unitedhosting who I already use.

£23 a month for 30 websites. Only going to host about 10 so this is a good deal it's just somebody at the company has an account with Fasthost so it'll be easier to set up for the company but I know nothing about them?

had terrible experiences with fasthost and it was with my first ever client!.. to use php with them i had to phone up and get some hidden line of something or other code to get it functioning... i used to get calls from the client asking why the site was down for periods of 12 hours at a time without warning - fasthost emails: "your site is experiencing technical difficulties, as are others, we apologise for any inconvenience" this was for at least two months - which is a big deal when your an e-commerce site... furthermore, the site seemed to be ridiculously slow no matter where i tried it from, even from university IT manager office who has a dedicated super line or something...

switching to consistent use of Streamline.nethas been the best decision yet (web wise) tht i have to date made...

I got a dedicated server with UK2.net, they have been spot on for the past 6 months and their technical support has also been really good. Obviously costs a few quid a month although there is space to host many many sites.

fasthosts = s**t (you had a lucky escape there)

that's what I love about the net, you do a poor job and everybody knows about, esspecially hosting companies, that's how it should be
