Default Client Hosting

Hi all. I've got a bit of a situation here. Basically I'm developing a site for a client and have set up their domain but not hosting. I was planning on setting up their hosting account with the same co. as the domain (who I am no way affiliated with).

Anyway, the hosting account that I had in mind had a wealth of features ideally suited to the site but now they are saying they want to go with free hosting with their talktalk broadband package! I know!

I don't want to develop a site for it then to be put on a mediocre hosting account that won't be able to handle the traffic and run out of web-space!

What would you guys say/do? This problem has never arisen before. Also, whichever host they choose, I make no money, so there are no other motives for wanting them to choose decent hosting :)

Cheers, Harry!

yeah it's definitely not your fault or problem if they make you use a **** hosting platform. let them use their 10mb or whatever of talktalk webspace but tell them you wont be held responsible for any bandwidth issues or otherwise. also tell them you don't know whether the hosting supports php, mysql, asp or whatever it is you are using. chances are that it wont do and it will just be very basic hosting suitable for html pages and if you do need mysql i would highly doubt that there is the capability to create a database for the site on there.

hope that helps :)

I agree if they are persistant then just go with it, but I'd make sure they know the difference in quality but that is all you can do.
