I personaly, really dislike splash pages and I know a lot of other people feel the same. The original concept of the splash page was to dislay something on screen whilst the main attraction loaded up. As this really no longer applies on websites then splash screens should be consigned back to the software industry where they still have a role to play.

On the whole - i agree with you... its the extra click that more-time annoys me..

HOWEVER - if sum1 is willing to pay you to create one...well i dunno... splash pages arent all that bad hey...

Why did you slice it like that ? ImageReady, right ? You could have done a single clickable image or 2 (one for the rollover). Anyway .... it looks good. I like it. Just a thing. On the rollover image when you "mouseover" the "Click to enter" text .... that rainbow style doesn't quite fit the grunge, urban look of the image ...

No, absolutely. The client is always right. *cough* And as a standalone artwork it's a nice piece.
