some critics to my web

Hi everybody!
What do you think about my first web portfolio design?
i finished one month ago and i ´m thinkig about change it.
Maybe with your critics i ´ll just change it a little, what do you think?

"Click to start site" is like forcing every single customer to a Wallmart to unlock the door. It makes about as much sense as putting an ignition lock on a magazine.

The brackets-around-fields aesthetic of portfolio examples looks too much like a coding error. Mystery Meat Navigation and awkward wording "The down menu" combine to create confusion for the user.

It exhibits all the criticisms of Flash without the redeeming factors such a powerful tool could provide -- all under the excuse of branding. It's a brand alright, but not of this site. Rather is an ad for sacrificing any smidgen of effective business branding on the alter of rampant creativity.

Agreed. I'm not a big fan of flash, but at least your site loads quickly, and you don't have to wait for ages.

And I agree with D856C about the "click to start site". Besides its in an awkward place.

I really like the music - but it takes a while for the sax to come in, and you don't really notice it until then.

In the website portfolio section you have spelt project as "proyet"

Overall, after all that, I like it. I'm impressed by your variety of work.

I'm afraid I agree with the general consensus here, it's too much. I also think a similar navigation effect could be achieved without making the entire site in flash so it's a waste.

Add to that Flash's negative Search Engine Optimization and indexing effect as well as the doorway page and increase loading time and it seems there are some things that need ironing out.

That being said however it does look quite nice, just a bit too much moving around, I like the colour scheme it's a nice change.

I agree, just to much going on, and its kinda small (but i have a 24' monitor so everything seems kinda small, haha)
I would stay away from flash, i find it overrated
The loading is slow also.
And for sure get rid of the "Launch site"
