Foto/video preview

I'm experimenting with a dynamic foto/video gallery with drag, rotate and scale options. In the top right corner you can scale and rotate. Dragging it will play the video if it is not a photo. First draft at:

What's your opinion?

it's interesting that interaction with any of the other images pauses the video... maybe add some video control and let us look at pictures during the video play.
also a button or something that would shrink the image back to default scale would be nice so after you enlarge it yourself you don't have to shrink it back down manually to get it out of the way.

overall it is a great concept!

True, the fact that the video is not automatically downscaled is not RSI friendly. Here's a better version:

the auto enlarge is neat.
scaling down when changing focus is nice too.
but what if i just want to move the images around the display area... some of them overlap so moving them can become bothersome when they auto enlarge like that.

The effects are pretty cool, I saw them in some other place.
I don't really feel the stroke on the photos, that looks a bit too thick.
