I got asked by a family memebr to do a website for their holiday cottage which is for rent in wales.

your top nav doesnt stand out as funtional nav. i thought it was contact info or sub headding at first.
the booking and rates page seems wierd with it not extending to the bottom like all the other pages. perhaps you should make that div extend the full height in the background.

I agree with Ross. And tables... tables tables tables. Ditch 'em. CSS is the future! lol. Enlarge the nav, make it more of a focal point and it's done, for it's purpose. Good luck, and welcome.
