Concept for a plumbing site! Any comments?

Hi All,

I have been working on a design for my brothers Plumbing company and am at the concept phase.

Do you think I should go ahead with this design and make the site or work on it further (have any suggestions?)?

My main focus was to make it clean, simple and professional.

yeah man, not bad at all.. maybe try defining the space a bit more so things don't seem to "float" on the page. I am a fan of that style you have done here though.

Not quite sure what you mean mate, do you mean make the elements closer.

Am probly just being a bit dence!

by floating, I meant that the header, footer and main content aren't defined spaces. It all kinda blends in as one... so the objects & images on the page itself kinda float in whitespace. By seperating them using styling and color, it defines the areas and attracts the eye to the spot that you want people to pay attent to the most.

On the other hand, I see what you're going for here.. it is a very clean design, and easy on the eyes.

Well. thats just my opinion, but I'd give the owner the option of a couple schemes..

Maybe just subtle changes with some slightly off-white added in the header / footer or maybe some shadows to offset the header or something.
