Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Toon, I have totally forgotten about doing alt text; thats going to have to happen soon.. schoolboy error that one...

Flashwiz, do you mean main header as in the page title [in blue]? These are gifs from photoshop so will stay the same size. I always do this for headings as it allows me to use helvetica, univers, gill, etc rather than arial or verdana!

After an initial scan through the pages, I really couldn't see/hear any accessibility problems with this site. There are a few minor issues.
The site structure should be improved, it doesn't make you wanna click any further. The structure should be made by colors, size or order.Personally I am not that qualified to comment but I can give you a suggestion to the best of my knowledge that may be some qualitative web designer shall provide you the necessary productive feedback.I know one: www.webdesigningcompany.net Rest is all upto you.It doesn't mean that this is the only company I recommend ,but frankly that's the only name that I know that better quality wise.

Well i would say that the www.webdesigningcompany.net has more than its fair share of errors.... for a start it doesnt even view correctly on a MAC.... and a number of other browsers that i have tried... which nevermind accessbility, if it cant even display on your screen correctly, then they need to fix it..

oh you mean fake companies on their own sites? i mean that oceanafashion has its own site - surely it would cost more than the benefits to do that more than a few times?

I hate templates, so many people jump up and use them n call themselves Web Designers etc....

Got a real hate for them, just wish people knew how little effort people put in when they use them. Been to so many so called designers site and it's clear to see that so many of them use these damn templates, infact on one occation they had all been used from Boxedart yet the person was charging upwards of £350 for around 5 pages.

I hate it.....Sorry about the rant but it's gotta be said.......:hammer:

Well I wouldn't call myself a web designer (the coding side goes straight over my head, and frankly i'd like to keep it that way :tongue_smilie:). So putting together sites for me is always a challenge and has its very stressful and frustrating moments.

Thing is i'd rather be working this way - learning and doing it for myself - than use a template and fob it off as my own. The whole idea seems a bit lame to me!

we not talking about your site james ( which by the way is really nice).

I knew this guy at uni who bought a template for like £50 or something (not sure exactly how much) and it was flash but he could not work out how to edit it and therefore its up as a static feeling html site. Static because its been designed to move and well, it does not.

Thanks Zumo, I know you weren't! Graphic Designers face similar problems, there are too many people with dodgy copies of photoshop and illustrator - unqualified, uncreative, unable to even draw - calling themselves graphic designers.

Easy giveaways are obviously the use of comic sans and filters!!
(That's my whine for the day)
