Yep it's quick enough.
My online portfolio showcasing my web designs, client works, graphical concepts, and more. It is in flash, but I have made it really userfriendly to make up for the fact that it is not in html/xhtml like most of my sites. All the content loads in externally from xml and the site loads fairly quick.

Didnt get that far.... full flash site... hit close before it finished...!!!
I have to say that having a complete flash site has its benefits and obvious disadvantages.
For one - web design 101 - loose the music, it is intrusive. Second you have a great skill in Photoshop - you have an XBOX feel that I like.
Accessability, should be obvious to you since it is a complete flash site, and it seems that you rely heavily on it. ON your "Project Graduation" site you could have easily created the same 'nav' with the CSS Hover Psuedo class, by putting them in divs and moving them down a -2px or whatever you like. Anywho - nice site and keep it up.

It's funny how much of a step on Flash should become but like Flashwiz says if you're looking for a quick content answer you tend to shut it down if it takes too long.
Don't want to start any arguments now but 2advance was held up as almost the benchmark of what could be achieved with flash. But if you've got that much of a good name why not change the site, evolve it a little show people you're not a 'one trick pony' but it's still remained.
May I be so bold as to say maybe that proved the limitations of a great flash site. To update a small piece means spending hours in updating all that animation that just takes 10 seconds to bring a small piece of content up.
(oh my got I'm gonna get slaughtered here)!!!!
"It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it, right?"
No...Laura Lynne, not exactly. The only reason why I smashed his site was because site accessibility isn't good. But with flash becoming open source so browsers can embed it, flash in-accessibility will be a thing of the past.
Speaking of content updates, that is why you create the site to use external text files for content, and use external images. So all you have to do is update a simple image or text file, it works like a CMS.

I know I got all exited I apologise greg and krazytim I just can't get a hold on public/web/client opinion on Flash it's so up in the air but CSS/XHTML is rarley questioned.
I did like this post as a good example as public/web/client opinion. I hope Im not just rambleing I can't seem to get my post across take it easy on me.

I hope you weren't taking it as though I was bashing you, that isn't what I'm about.Take it easy on me
Although, it is nice chatting with chicks about web design, I rarely get a chance to do that.
Do you feel that you have an easier time, or harder time than us dudes (getting jobs I mean.)
