Here :)
Sorry, I didn't realise I was being asked anything... ooops :)
My thoughts about design, particularly for the web is that communication is everything, and in some aspects of design that communication can be abstract... but for a site that has a specific function, rather than just textual information, the communication has to be pointed at making the knobs and buttons that allow the users to do the things they want stand out and be accessible, with a clearly defined purpose.
Have any of you guys read the 37 Signals' book, "Defensive Design For The Web"? It clearly illustrates the manners in which designers often focus on aesthetics of websites, whilst completely overlooking the design communication required to make sites usable and user friendly.
Everything from error messages to having the foresight to provide highlighted instructions for users is such an important part of the communicative design process for any designer planning on building solid sites.
Anyway, that's my thoughts... anyone else? :)
