Default My first website

Hi everyone,

I have just finished making my second website. I am not trained in anything, it has all been self taught.

This website is my first one, i have only finished it a month or two ago, and have been wanting some feedback on it.
Lake Macquarie Architecture

I made this site for a friend of mine for free, it has given me some great experience and the process taught me a lot.

every graphic in it was made by me.

This website is my second one one and it has only been finished in the last couple of weeks.
Christina's B&B - Home

Every graphic was created by me and a lot of the photos i also took.

I got paid a small amount for this site but again it was done for a friend as a learning opportunity for me.

----------------------

I would love some feedback on both sites and i was wondering what would be the approximate pricing charged for a similar website? I know this is dependent on a lot of things, but i just want a ball mark figure of what "you" would charge, if possible.

It is great to have found a place to talk and learn about this with similar minded people. I am very happy to be a part of this forum!!

Thanks in advance.

The design for the first one isn't bad but it should be simple enough to ditch the tables and build the layout using CSS.

Also the big let down is this is all the search engines have to read....

It's not enough to make an impact in any search engine, to get better ranking you need to give the SE's more to read.

Decent enough start though.

The only things they read are text, alt tags and meta tags. Meta data doesn't count as much as it used to but good typed content with defined headers i.e. h1 h2 etc.

This may help
