Default Feedback wanted...

Hi, I´m designing a homepage for a designer, a danish woman, who lives in Hamborg, and who works as a clothes designer.

The ste is only in English, but will be in danish and german too...and not all pages are done, but some feedback on the design as it is now in the early days would be appriciated....

Be aware, that im pretty new in designing webpages...

But does the site signal clothes designer, or is it way off?

The link:

tinablockfriis.dk

Thanx

Looks fine to me the design is nice, one small thing you might not be aware of is if you enter body {margin:0; padding:0;} into your style sheets if will make the header go right up to the top of the screen rather than hang a little bit below.

Oki, I tried with a margin, but then, there was a space between the header and the text box, so how do I fix that?

It "hangs" fine on my two computer with different resolution and size...

Default margin 0

Quote:
Generally, Web browsers leave some space between the document presentation and the borders of the canvas. For different versions of IE and Netscape, figures ranging from 8 to 16 pixels have been reported. For text in particular this is important, because it is difficult to read text which "hits" a border. Margins are part of normal style and shouldn't be touched by authors, unless there is a very good reason. Just disliking the defaults of one's own browser is not a good reason at all; fix your browser settings, and let others handle theirs as they like.
These might explain a little better...

Not bad for a beginner, it's pretty clean. I'd only work on the header, maybe some clothes-related and a nice logo.
Good luck!
