Interesting indeed.. good luck with that, Brian.

As far as me.. don't worry too much about it, I'm well off into another tangent . Doing a 3 column 100% width liquid design... I think it's pretty cool, but waiting to do some other stuff to it 'til I have the time.
Check it out, let me know what you think thus far.... RE-DESIGN I opted for a bit of JS in this one and plan to add some applications later... (and btw, didn't mean to hijack your thread lol)

Dont worry about the thread... as for the site, took a quick looksie.... is it supposed to be 3 columns as in the bottom section is fluid too... as it doesnt seem to be working for me... its staying put...

best advice i could give is think of a grid system... so if your splitting the footer too into 3 columns, then make sure they aligh with the columns to the top if you know what i mean? Im getting different font sizes too just so you know.. the column to the right is much smaller... and the italic fonts i can hardly read... BUT im on a MAC..... other than that, its getting there matey. :-)

Mac.. yep.. thats gotta be it, the one thing I can't test. As for the layout, its 100% width and yes the fonts are undetermined as of yet. Here's where I am on it... I have the layout for that and 3 pages I intend to build off it. The columns are floated left, so the blog / login section will drop if you shrink your browser pageit (and that is fixed at 10px font).

The stuff I have really been working on is on the backside, trying to learn more about Adobe's new inclusion of the Spry Widgets (an AJAX JS method included in CS3). That's been a labor of love to say the least. I am using their accordion panel on the 3 bottom tabs now where I can later drop in some application stuff.

What I am trying to figure out is how to get an app in there on one of the tabs that will allow clients from afar to drag and drop files onto my server. That would save me a LOT of time in travel and working with clients... as far as the design goes, I'll tune up those couple things mentioned. What's your browser's font, just out of curiosity?

**EDIT**
Fonts fixed (font-family: Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif)... and they are all percentage based so they should shift as you adjust browser size)

... I checked out the shop now.. cool, but let me know if you ever decide to go with an AJAX shop; I'd be interested in talking to you about it if you find something that works relatively easy. anyway, site looks good as usual man.. good job!!
oh dear then don't check out my site, it's over 10 years old. It's a site with all kinds of violations. It's like a flea-market! LOL. Ah yes, time for a redesign. Time to do the CSS shuffle.

flashwiz, nice site and cleeaaan.

...sip...
