Default Messing around in Fireworks CS3

I bought Fireworks CS3 when I came back from Japan... and have to say that I'm thoroughly impressed!

It's a major leap in the right direction in terms of prototyping designs. The thing I particularly like about it is how you can create new "pages" inside the same PNG file and share layers between them whilst having separate slices exported from individual pages... pretty cool. Anyone else been using Fireworks CS3?

Anyway... some messing around resulted in this very !!!ORANGE!!! design :D

Yep, the newest version of Fireworks is "CS3" (http://www.adobe.com/products/fireworks/) and as far as I can tell it's bundled in Adobe's Web Standard and Web Premium versions of Creative Suite 3.

Thanks for the kind comment about the layout :)

yeah.. you know I like the tools Gordon.. I'm going to have to wait to shell out the big bucks for the suite though. WOW.. that site is very striking. Cool design but I think I just burned my retina.. LOL. Nice work

Can you explain in a bit more detail the process you are speaking of in multiple pages within a png and preserving slices on export..

I think I get it.. but if I'm understanding it correctly wouldnt that save like 3 steps, particularly in the Layering process prior to slicing the file? Or am I missing something.. hmmmph. I'll have to wait and see I suppose.

I must say that it is a really nice layout. Colors are a little strong on the eyes, but still, I like it!

Very nice, Fireworks is great, I've only played around with it a bit and I haven't experienced CS3 I'm sure that is even better. Great Layout.
