I'm sorry dean but the flashing background didn't make me stick around long, I was looking for a pause key to stop it. It's great that flash can make such visually alive stuff but I didn't want to browse the site at all, but that might just be me my eyes aren't as good as they used to be, maybe for a new generation of site users it could be quite interesting but not for me. Sorry mate.

yeah it's a shame because the video player is a nice touch to view things with but I couldn't focus with all the flashing in the background. Shame.

Best of luck mate, I should have stated I'm not a big fan of flash anyway but it may suit a few other users

It took a while to load up on my pc, and then I could only look at it for a few seconds before I had to close it down. A pause button is definately the way to go! Good luck

ive added a simple toggle button that switches between the madness & a still image, so it should be easier on your eyes! ive also taken the tune out as it was embeded in the main .swf & it making it a massive file, it should download in a third of the time now!

could anyone please point me in the direction of a decent tutorial that enables me to stream the externial .swf, with the .mp3 file, and also control the music on/off with the button? all the ones i keep finding want me to embed the .mp3 in the main .swf?!

thanks for the feedback guys hopefully ill get there in the end, its doin my head in i got a deadline at uni fri so i got lots of work to do but i wana get to grips with this flash site, priorities eh ;P

Just too much flash for me here... and the background flashing is just so frustrating that i didnt look any further into the site.... im sure im not the only one so i would look at fixing that as a first priority.
