Default Website Evaluation Please Help!

Hello,

I would like to have your opinion if its possible for a website that I am currently working on.

The website is located here

Although I tried to do a simple/clear design, my client believes that it looks like a white A4 page. The index page is still empty so please take a look to other pages. The client is a greek electronics and security systems supplier.

Could you provide me with some suggestions in order not to change completely the whole design? Otherwise I have to do everything from scratch.

Thank you very much! :)

I think it is quite clean and clear, once you get some content in the main space it will look a bit clearer. The only things that might give it a bit of depth is a patterned or darker back ground, or a shadow effect down the sides like this...

Yeah I think it looks blank due to lack of content, depending on how you lay the copy out is could make it look alot more interesting

yeah, seems fine so. agreed on adding maybe a texture or gradient into the grey but otherwise its content that will make it.

Show us how thats going on and we'll sure to comment some more.

Have a quick look at this (sorry for the load time) It's a darker patterned background a small shadow repeat down the sides and a little bit of text. It already looks more fuller and interesting.

It looks much clearer with the dark background I have to agree it has a better dimension to it.

Much better, goes to show how a few small touches can improve a design immensely!

To be completely honest - your main content area is wider than your background repeating image (At least in Firefox). I like the clean cut approach but you should look into CSS standards a little more. I think that you have a decent design approach though. Keep it up.
