Default New flash portfolio

Hi,

I've just finished my portfolio site and would really appreciate some feedback(still need to add some more content but the site itself is largely finished). The concept seemed like a good idea at the time, but now it's actually finished I'm having serious second-thoughts.

The site has been developed using actionscript and whilst I understand the problems with full flash sites, I'm ideally looking for work as a flash designer/developer so really need to showcase these skills. I'm also not really looking for freelance stuff so the SEO problems shouldn't be of too much concern.

Anyway, let me know what you think and if any errors or problems show up.

Cheers

I've never noticed this before, but I do get the same problem if the browser window isn't the full vertical size of the screen. I'll have to have a look at how I position the screen when I get home. The site should work if you have the window maximised for the time being though. I hope at least.

Looks fine for me, dont know if you fixed it.

i think you have a idea here, however the TV placed on the white BG doesnt do anything for me, i think the placement on the page and the elements around it can really bring this up a notch if that made any sense.

I would do a little work to make your work appear more so that its on the Screen rather then placed ontop of it, maybe a little distortion to give it a rounded effect like its on the screen.

not sure i understand the relevance of having next and previous buttons actually on the screen of the tv on your portfolio section...

maybe you should make channel up/channel down or volume up/volume down buttons to scroll through your works instead. for the sake of keeping a consistent theme.

I agree . That would definitely improve the layout and look of the site. Pretty impressive design otherwise..
