Ok, I've done some reading and the whole DOCTYPE concept is confusing me. I just wrote the site using html I learnt some years ago - so I'm unsure as to which DOCTYPE would be required. Any direction regarding this would be absolutely fantastic!

wow, you guys are so much more critical, espec markup validations, the last site i posted at would tend to slate a design till it was a way they liked it lol.

will post up my portfolio when i'm finished with my last 2 clients (taking a break after i've done them - getting married in just over 4 months!) if you guys would be good enough to look over it for me :)

Did you miss the "Markup Validation Nazi" part... really though that's where 90% of the problems come from
