Default IE 8 Download Link

Play with IE8 Guys

Thought I would put this in a seperate thread for people who don't read the browser thread every day.

This is an IE8 beta link, it will install over IE7 but thankfully features an emulation engine for it so you can switch back any time.

So far not many changes other than a little faster and text looks a bit different.

I think IE8 will be the next disappointment for us the web developers...

why is there even a discussion between IE7 Standards and IE8 Standards? They are Standards! Standards should be the same for everyone! WTF? if they are not the same then they are not standards are they! Why not use the real standards? Stop trying to change the standards and build a browser that i do not have to implement 1001 hacks for to make my web pages look right.

Agreed, it obvious a massive range of people, espeically developers and designers are turning to Firefox and Opera because of their ability to actually render code. surely M$ can see this and think "Hey, lets make IE do that".

But no, they don't they just go "hey IE has tabs now!" and think they have done enough.
