It isn't out quiet yet. It is however in Release Candidate 1, which means it is pretty close. They (Mozilla) usually try to keep RC's to a minimum, 2-3 at the most I think.

According to the official sources, and some unofficial ones, it's supposed to be somewhat quicker and more stable, stricter security for third party extensions, and Mozilla has now fully implemented the Personas-extension, which is supposed to be a pretty lightweight skinning solution. Also, upgrades have been made to support the new CSS, DOM og HTML5-specifications, and WOFF (Web Open Font Format), but I haven't found a more detailed description yet.
I'm waiting a couple of weeks to make sure my extensions don't go all crazy on me, but anyone else tried it? Any comments?

Love the fact it opens tabs in the next one on rather than at the end
There was already a setting for that, wasn't it?
EDIT: Nevermind, that was in the Tab Mix Plus extensions, not FF itself.

Also the HTML5 parser is off by default, here's how to enable it, should you want to: Enabling the HTML5 parser in Firefox 3.6.
