IE is too slow and Microsoft have introduced too many annoying quirks into the system (mainly for security). Firefox rules although there are some pages (usually happens with form based sites) that only seem to work on IE without falling over.. Suppose this is down to poor testing??

I use both Opera and Firefox while browsing because they are both stable and each of them has features that are really useful:
Opera - Has an excellent zoom facility (better than the zoom on IE7).
Firefox - The Web Developers Toolbar addon for Firefox is fantastic.

And of course, both browsers support CSS2 better that IE6 and IE7.

i always have firefox and IE open. we have to test everything in both because majority of our user base to the sites we develop split about 50/50 on both, but use firefox primarily

agreed Mack... I need to know what the masses are using and be familiar with the quirks. Why even bother programing something for the 10% market? Doesn't make sense to me.
But you know... most designers are gonna use a Mac so their view is no doubt biased

Opera is a nice browser btw Kira.. glad you got it at work finally.
