3D typographers ?

Hey, i've currently got a Brief to make a 3D logo for a client.
This is a college project, i was wondering if you guys know of any typographers that specialise in 3D type. or anything to do with it.

also have you got any ideas for experiments i can do, so far i made a 3D letter, and i made a stencil and projected light through it.
