Well I only looked at the images. The basic idea is that the hands are all lines up so that at two times a day (for as long as you can squint) the hands would form basic strokes and letter forms, but that as time went on that would break, but reform 12 hours later.
I could see something like this in a store window? I mean you could place pieces of type on the hands and have the type form and break every hour?
You'd get an on/off surge of customers through out the day lol.
