Agreed with above posters, there are many fonts just like that..of course, simplicity is pretty monotonous.

It's like there's nothing very special about it, but it's like that's what makes it a useful font - I think...

But very small changes in fonts can be an advantage on different pieces, look at the style of the 4's. If I was doing a project where the number 4 would be in the forefront of the piece I would pick this over, swiss, arial, trade gothic, humanist etc.

Looking at a font in such a general way is very small minded, you need to be able to treat every one as unique there's always a use for it.

Quite true, Toon, I realise what you mean. We didn't really say that it's just like that and that there's no point in posting or something...it was just a statement, that many fonts look simplistic and "Albert" is one of them.
Dunno about the others, but this is what I personally think.

Toon's quite right, every font has a purpose and it's nieve to say it's like so many other's because it's quite clearly very different, a font set is always unique as is the way it's used, show me a font that even close?

The Cap R's are like Franklin Gothic but no other letter is, some letters are identical to Frutiger but the I's and G's are very different.
