Default the letter double 'W'

we say 'double u' when its really a double v shape - are we wrong ? here is some more

Well it can vary upon hand-writing style I suppose, becuase some people use a 'double u' shape while others (including myself) use a 'double v' shape..

Theres absolutely no difference in my u's and v's in my handwriting! Good question though, perhaps when the alphabet was invented people favoured a curlier w :)

it does make you think the origin of words and letters and things Most are sound based but w is the only letter with more than one sound.
