Apparantly Charlton have just reject a 13 million pound bid for Bent.

Surely you could get to decent strikers from the continent for that kind of cash!!

I support: When I was a kid: Chelsea & Liverpool, now I just love the game.

Think will win:Manchested United

Want to Win:Chelsea. I think Jose brings something to the Premiership, kinda like Clough did. Would be sad to see him go to Europe.

Dont want to win:MANU(re)

Who you want relegated:Watford, Charlton, Sheffield (just not West Ham)

Favourite player: Joe Cole, Aaron Lennon - England's great hopes. 2010 couldnt come quick enough, well, it could, I dont want to get older that quick so scratch that : )

Most hated player: Landon Donovan (USA). Plus anyone who shame's the shirt of the 3 lions.

Not sure why Birmingham waiting that late to sell Upson personally, could have sold him two weeks ago and tried to get a replacement in methinks

Seven members of China's Olympic team have been sent home following a mass brawl that occurred during their friendly with QPR on Wednesday.

The game at Rangers' training ground was halted after a fight during which China's Zheng Tao was knocked out and suffered two cracks in his jaw.

QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has hinted that he could sack some of the players involved in the fight.

"When we find out what went wrong, I will come down very strong," he said.

David Beckham has been recalled to Real Madrid's squad for the game against Real Sociedad in La Liga on Saturday. Coach Fabio Capello had earlier said he would not pick the 31-year-old former England captain after he agreed a move to LA Galaxy next season.
But Capello has been forced into a re-think after criticism following the 1-0 home defeat against Levante.
Beckham's Real team-mates, including play-maker Guti, had lobbied Capello to bring him back into the team.
He has not played for Real since January, when he revealed his decision to move to America at the end of his contract in the summer.
Beckham's most recent appearance for Madrid came in the 2-0 defeat at Deportivo La Coruna in the club's opening match of 2007.
