Arsenal were lucky today. My heart was in my mouth and I nearly cried when we finally scored the winner. It could be a mixed season again. I have written a detailed match report here.

Was pretty pleased with the pools display against villa.... some promising signs to the game.... and with captain fantastic in the team, we are always in with a chance...

Yes I agree however when Henry left everyone thought the team would spread the goals between them. I don't want the pressure to be on RVP like it was Henry. It will be interesting to see if Eduardo lives up to the hype. Nice to Hleb on the scoresheet and also Rosicky had chances and he deserved a goal.

Good win for Liverpool also. How many times has Gerrard produced magic in the past? It may take Torres a short while to settle but once he is scoring Liverpool will be a force.
