    WordPress CSS help

I need to add a hot link to a banner on a WP website. Here is my code but I'm not sure where I'm supposed to add the link. Can anyone help out? Thanks in advance.

You'll need to look at the HTML/Php source of the header in order to place any sort of link. Can't really do it through CSS.

I can't access the HTML/PHP source. It's a WP template that I've been customizing with graphics and such. Is there a reason that someone won't allow a link on the header image?

The theme I'm using is "The Morning After". I upgraded it to allow me to customize the CSS. That would stink if I'm not able to now. Here's a link to the theme I'm using: http://www.woothemes.com/2010/06/themorningafter/

I'm still a little confused on what exactly you want. Do you want the banner image to be linked? Or do you want to add a text link somewhere in the header? Or do you want to add a style to a specific link in the header?

Also, you should have access to the php. I've downloaded that theme and many others from Woo Themes. It comes packed in a .zip folder. If you extract that, you will see all the PHP files that make up the theme. The one you want to look at is header.php (assuming you'd like to add an html element).

The main graphic header that says "Home" on it ...... I'd like to add a link to that header. I've been through their customization and it won't allow me to do it. And I didn't purchase it online; I activated it through WordPress as one of their free templates and I upgraded to allow me to use my own domain name and customize the CSS.

I hope that helps explain a little better.

On your wordpress dashboard hover over appearance then hit editor. Select the theme then look for header.php on the right hand list.

In header.php look for the or the header should be in a div immediately after but without a link to your site I couldn't give you exact instructions.
