    Logo for Civil Engineering Studio

    ADS NOT VISIBLE TO MEMBERS
    Hello!

I need to create a logo for an established Civil Engineer Studio (wich builds houses etc...) who wants a simple and elegant logo. I have to mention that the company is well established and has a good reputation.

Work: I brainstormed for a while and made this two first trys .

Could you please answer to these questions?

    1) What do you read in the logo?

    2) Does it express a solid and elegant identity?

3)Wich one is better ? First or second?

Any type of help/suggestion is really appreciated,

    Thanks

    Pier

    1) I read ANG Engineering.
    2) No, i do not think so.
    3) The one without the stroke on the bottom.

Why is the "Engineering" so squeezed? Looks no good.
I don't think it's elegant at all really.

I would suggest starting over with a different approach somehow.

You can't really read (if by read, you mean associate) anything from typographic logos, but with that use of white space on the M, it kind of looks like an envelope.
Imho, no it does not express a solid and elegant identity. It looks like it has been done in 10 minutes. Typography has not been thought trough, and
the tag line text is stretched (!). The colour is brown, earthy, dirt like.
None of these logos are "better" in anyway, imo.

My honest advice would be to do research, get inspiration, work with idea development and start over.
I can link you some logo sites which you can browse for inspiration.

I hope this helps, good luck with the logo!
