From the time I was eleven I've been into designing websites. Now I'm eighteen years old and looking into pursing web design as a career.I'm not stupid,I know that what I know about web design now isn't nearly enough to get a job with.I'm planning on either going to college or taking a course on web design, but before I can make this kind of choice I need to know.

I think it's a bit over-done. The main gallery section looks fine, but the framing silhouettes lack relevancy and detract from the images of your client. The blue boxes might work better in a more subdued tone. The numbered boxes should be closer to your main content area to balance out how close your banner is to main. Also, the "J" of Jillian is a bit muddy. The last name is a lot clearer.
Hope this helps.

I like it! But I do agree with the J is a bit hard to read and needs to be cleaned up and moving the numbers closer could not hurt.

Thank you for the great suggestions! I will have to post the updates as soon as I get them done.

i cant stand when people say that kind of stuff....weather it took 5 mins or 5 hours , its your work and if u dont like it u dont have to post it ..
The design is very simple if ur client was happy with it then so be it ....but i see nothing that catchs my eye.
when ppl look at ur work they do not care how long it took ...its a minute detail, what matters is final project.
