Once could easily make a living off of hosting commissions if they did it right. I built a website for this a long time ago, one thing I will NEVER EVER regret :)

I feel your pain tommy. We had Google adsense on our site and we got banned with a very similar email to what you received. Like you we didn't click through off our own site. We argued it out with them for a while, but they was having non of it. We was lucky in the end cos 1 of the guys i work with, his buddy works for google and managed to un-ban us. But by this point we'd had enough of them and decided not to re-add adsense to our site. google hey

Hello Thomas,

Thank you for clarifying your situation. We have reviewed your circumstances and have reinstated your account, effective immediately.

Please note that there will be a delay of up to 48 hours before our servers are informed of the update and ads start running on your website again.

For your reference, we've included some short guidelines to assist you in preventing invalid clicks in the future:

It is against our program policies for website publishers to click on the ads on their own webpages, or to encourage others to do so. In addition, the use of automated techniques to generate clicks, such as robots or scripts, is prohibited.

If you'd like to visit the destination of an ad to view its content or to add it to your filter list, you can use the AdSense Preview Tool, available here:

https://www.google.com/support/adsen...c.py?topic=160

The Google AdSense preview tool is an addition to the right-click menu for Windows Internet Explorer 6.x, allowing you to preview the ads that may show on any web page. Clicks and impressions from the preview tool are not applied to the advertiser's account. You can click through to the target site without worrying about invalid clicks being generated on your account, and without costing the advertiser for your test clicks.

If you'd like to learn more about viewing the URLs of your Google ads, please visit our Help Center at https://www.google.com/support/adsen...py?answer=9876.

In addition, please be sure to review and remain in compliance with our Terms and Conditions and program policies:

https://www.google.com/adsense/terms
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies

Lastly, you can find tips and guidelines for keeping your account in good standing by visiting our Help Center at https://www.google.com/support/adsen...y?answer=23921.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Thanks Alison!! I know Adsense is a frivolous thing, but I can't be getting banned for life from them now. ... so it was a little important to me.
