Deleting backlink?

If i go to the forum etc where my link is posted and remove it, will this delete the backlink or is it ermanently stored?

say for instance i have 100backlinks but they are all from my sig on another forum, i fi go remove my weblink from that sig - will google then deduct 100backinks, or will google not update....

Eventually over a long period of time you will lose them depends on what sitemap software the forums uses. Google downloads my member profile info daily which is very high, most will be monthly and yearly.
