I've read that blogs are seen better by search engines, because of their continuous update.
We've tried this thing before but we've got little results. We want to create a new blog. My main interest is to bring traffic for cratima website and new business for the company. Before we'll decide to transform this thought into reality I have some questions. 1. Should we put the blog on Cratima 's domain name, on should I make a blog on blogspot, myspace...etc. 2. Regarding the content. We want the blog to be about new internet solution that can help new businesses. a) We can search the web, find out news, filtered them and then put the most interesting in our blog. b) We can add value to different news on the net, value from our knowledge and business. c) Use both articles with added value and some funny stories related to the businesses. 3. How many blog administrators are necessary to make it interesting (with quality and enough information) Thanks!

Right you ask some good questions here's my input. First yes I would host it on you own site, don't use Cratima.Worpress or a Cratima.blogspot. You could make a sub domain on your own site but use a keyword subdomain a bit like...
http://www.webdesign-romania.cratima.com/ So the Search Engine will read the webdesign and the location as keywords this will help drive traffic to your site. If you can you may want to offer a few web designers you know a guest spot blogging and in exchange they can add their link to the bottom of their post, if you've got 5 or six people adding content daily then your blog will become A) Popular with readers and B) More content to spider. You need to aim for at least 3-5 posts a week and then even 3-5 posts a day. Remember most blogs are loosely based around a subject but you can write about as many different things as you wish as long as the readers find it interesting. You can even do competitions to keep people coming back - i.e. a caption of the month comp. Take an amusing picture and offer a small prize to the best caption. Also everybody loves free stuff, you can bet if you stick a free set of web icons on your blog you'll get hits. Hope this clears things up for you, you must let us know how you get on. (That's the most work I've done all week) |
