Google Adsense Scroller

Just saw the following in my Adsense ad units a few minutes ago: the Google Adsense ad scroller!

The scroller is nothing more than tiny “Up”, “Down”, “Left” and “Right” arrows at the bottom of the ad units. Basically, the arrows let you “scroll” the ad unit to show new advertisements. There are several variations of the arrows, both for horizontal and vertical ad units. Cool, huh?

I admit to be impressed by the simplest of things but what amazes me is how google don't even fell they have to promote these new features, they wait until somebody spots the feature and then it goes global via forums, blogs etc. That really is the key to marketing.



I'm assuming you won't see them everywhere only on sites with enough content to match enough ads to, I found a block on here that had at least four blocks of ads you could scroll through.

Could this be Google upping their game due to many people switching to Yahoo ads?
