Default Page Rank

Google's pagerank has changed (gone up on most) on all my sites. Anyone else notice any changes?

Apparently Google thought they were being to harsh with their internal page linking ranks and have changed a few things to benefit internal pages.

People have started to attempt to cheat the PR already with links in to their index page. So google moves the importance of this onto all the pages in a site giving you an average pagerank which effects the index overall. For example if you do free layouts or tutorials chances are people are linking to these in massive amounts these link won't point to your home page but to the page the tutorial is on, thus increasing the imporatance of having free things for people.

It matters.... page rank still counts... but page rank on it's own is not everything... it's just a measurement... and when put to good use can reap rewards... relevancy and content matter more... imo...
