Internal Linking

Been reading up about internal linking etc etc. Have a fairly active blog and loads of the posts are PR 3 and 2. If I now go back to those posts and add anchored links etc etc to other pages on my site i.e portfolio pages/home page etc - will it be of any SEO benefit?

Kind of is the best answer. Internal linking from high PR, low outbound link pages is a good way to get PR to new posts BUT over-doing internal linking on your site can be bad.

As you said put 1 or 2 anchor links to top level pages in your site for the best effect, remember vary anchors and density.
