Default Links swaps with graphic design sites

Hi all,

I'm looking for links swaps with graphic design websites - both for SEO benefits, but also a lot of my clients are looking for graphic designs (I dont always have time!!) and I would like my links page to be full of suggestions!

I'm doing lots of SEO at the moment - so could be beneficial for both parties!

Please email me at: info@in8website.co.uk for more info.

Ta,

Anna

Are you wanting mainly links to yours or helpful links, it's just one could help SEO and the other could hinder it.

Hi Toon,

Bit of both - looking to network a bit with some designers as I often need someone to do some speedy graphic design for me. BUT I am picky, so will only use links I really like.

I'm fairly new to SEO, how would it hinder?

Anna

For most you'd be advertising what some people may feel are your competition, also Pagerank comes into play. If someones worked hard to get a PR or 4 or 5 they won't want to exchange links with a PR 1 or 2 site as it would bring there's down.
I don't mind putting a link for you on my design site. But the only way it would help either is if someone found your site looking for design and they were based in my area or someone found my site and wanted something from your area. Believe it or not in the age of technology people still seem to keep their work pretty local.
The most important form of SEO is not links in or out but how the SE reads the site. ie how it's built, robot.txt H1-H6 headers, regular updated content and clever keyword density.
Hope this helps and I'll add you a link if you pm me what the text link has to say (remember the more decriptive the better) and which of the sites you want me to link to.

Sorry to bring back an older thread, But thought id throw in some stuff.

2-5% is the ideal SEO Keyword density.
SOME(may not be fact) Say they've been blacklisted and/or penalized by google for going higher than 20% keyword density
