Thoughts on Cuil?

Anyone done any testing with Cuil and got any thoughts on it? I think that there is a bit of layman searcher interest so it's important to understand.

I did a few test searches and came up with expired domains, keyword stuffed pages, sneaky redirects to porn sites and other crap. Oh, and the results pages were decorated with supposedly relevant poor quality images.

So much for the best search engine yet.

Thanks , I had a look at those threads but wondered if any of the hardened search bods on this board had any theories about ranking methodology etc. The reason I ask is that after all the media attention, Cuil seems to have generated some interest in the "general public".

If you know nothing about search, then the SERPS seem plausible enough.

I have to admit I don't like it at all, I especially don't like the SERPs pages with the horrible image icons and things.
I wonder sometimes if people try to create new search engines just to see what people prefer.
