    Google .com or .co.uk

Sorry this is only directed at the UK members but I was just wondering do you use .com or .co.uk when searching the web, I know they throw up different results but do you rather have local results or worldwide results?

thanks for taking the time to answer

Not if you click google.com under the search box or set your browser default as .com Flick

.co.uk, just overtime I guess Im normally trying to find something regional or UK specific. I find alot of .com results give me links that aren't relevant to what I am looking for (in terms of money, companies, information on products etc).

I would say stick to .com in this day age, .co.uk will limit you massively. Esspecially if you're looking for great design sites, some of the best in the world at the moment are from Romania and Croatia, they appear very low in google.co.uk

I think i'm going to switch from .ie to .com too. I'm getting really annoyed with the .ie search results.

Day to day I use .co.uk because of shopping etc but I use .com a hell of a lot for research and the like.

I would say its a 60/40 split so my vote goes to co.uk
