I don't see the point to be honest. You'd be better off creating templates which are the same for both language versions of the site, with just the content in either German or English.

I want to remake my own website (design, content,…) and I want to translat it in english, but I want 2 versions: one german and one english.
My question: I thought I make a new "GET"-variable with the name lan. and then just setting it to de or en...
Every site looks first for this variable and then decide, if the english or german version it should display. this would work, but how do pros tackle this problem?
