Just to let you know if you don't all ready, make sure you get the D40X

The relatively new Nikon D40 is being replaced by the D40X. With higher Mega px and increased rate of FP/S. I has either just come out or will be doing very shortly.

From what I can gather about the D40X, its a cut down version of the D80. Still a great camera though!
