Some Pictures of mine...your thoughts please...

the first one gives me a headache.
blurred foreground just isn't natural!
it would have been cool to have the picture be and insect on one of the foreground leaves with the boats in the background slightly blurred.
i'm not a photographer though... take my advice on this with a grain of salt.

Its suppost to be a tilt shift photo. works quite well I think.

I would have to say that I don't think that the first one is quite right, I like the third one with the boats, although perhaps a tad too much sky, but a nice picture nevertheless. The sky is a touch burnt out in picture 5, and I like the last picture very much.

What camera are you using?

Coming from a photographer I'm quite happy with that.

Its a Nikon D40, I've only had it a couple of weeks. Love it though. :)

If you have a tilt and shift lens. Why didn't you use it on the church?

The problem with that tilt shift photo is that you have an object (the bush) which is a steady distance from your camera, yet it's focused in the middle and blurred at the top and bottom.
You've gotta avoid things like that run from top to bottom showing up in your shot or it ruins it.

havn't got the lens, its a photoshop ;)

I know, much to learn, was my 1st attempt at the tilt.
