Photography and some good shots missed!

Well one thing is a had a great weekend!
Went down to a local pub in "Sonning" and had a good meal, then i turned around and noticed somebody!

With my Nikon D80 in the car ready to go i had to miss this shot just out of respect to the guy... It was Roger Moore having a few with family siting on the table next to me... I was tempted to get my camera out but really couldnt and felt it would intrude!

Anybody else have a moment where they could have taken a photo?

Hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands. Until Canon or Nikon come up with bionic implant, it's just something we're all going to have to live with.
Of course with the advent of the 6+ megapixel pocket compact there's less of an excuse not to carry a camera all the time, but it also requires a degree of self discipline/organisation, which most of us don't have.
If anyone decides to post to this thread citing mobles with cameras all I have to say is optics!

no, but seriously, to carry a camera all the time is still a bit of a task even although the are pretty smal these days

I would carry my camera everywhere if I could and I do quite often - you get used to the strange looks people give you for shooting random objects! I've had so many missed shots especially wildlife ones!
