Default Theyre trying to ban photography in public places...

This has outraged me in ways that not even BBC News can. Please folks, for the love of freedom and creativity, sign this petition.

this is not actually true you know - the background is basicially that the guy in question was told not to take pictures at a kids rugby game and then like and got into some trouble about it - theres no government action towards this at all.

check the background..

Have done Zumo (just), namely this site:
http://www.phooto.co.uk/rights.shtml
where the story of the chaps at the rugby game is. Supposedly they are suggesting some kind of ID card for photographers who work with younger subjects to prove who they are...which is fair enough in the respect that it'll stop the scaries in their lucky blue overcoats, but how far will this stretch?

Its just a worry, its impossible to go to a beach in the summer without there being kids running around, so is beach photography out? How about parks? Strikes me theres such a thing as being too vigilant and this does seem to be encroaching on our freedom a bit.

well - i think we should question any law thats passed - I mean its a strange world to think that someone taking pictures of their own kids running naked about the beach could be arrested or get a warning. but we leave it a f-ed up world
