How would you clean it?
And aren't teapots supposed to keep the tea hot? Glass would leak loads of heat.
Could maybe be double-layered glass with air (or even better, a vacuum) in between the layers.

Personally i thought glass stayed pretty warm but really how long would it take to drink a pot of tea, for me its all drunk well before the heat starts to dissapear

Nope, glass is quite a poor insulator compared to plastic or most metals.
That's why houses have double-glazed glass rather than single-glazed like they used to. Single layer glass leaks alot of heat from a house.

There's a layer of air in between the glass sheets to act as an insulator.


I guess it depends on how big the pot is too. Less tea means you'll drink it faster.
I'm not a tea fan really. I'd use it for coffee, so... 2 or 3 cups worth of coffee in there. It'd have to stay warm while i drink the other cups, and that might take quite a while.
