Cant design?

How do you tell somebody they cant design?
I really want to redesign this leaflet but he insists he likes it the way it is.

I'm guessing that you're doing the site for the same guy if this post is anything to go by? Well if the site is a definite go ahead I'd say something along the lines of: "Well, if were doing the site we ought to bring all the business literature in line. We need a consistent look accross the whole company blah blah..."

its hard for someone to see what theyve done is cr*p until theyre made to see how it should look! perfect example is when you put toons logos next to mine (he's gettin there thou!).

what really annoys me is he creates the brochures for St John in Derbyshire (brewcoms his own business, kinda sidelined work). Whilst i'm employed casually to do boring data imput and stuff. He knows i do graphic design, he could just give me the designing to do

Nice clip art man! PR's advice seems the best way to go, probably best not to go on and on about it if he's your boss though. Dave's advice would be interesting on your last day!

Some people think that using Word qualifies them as a print designer (ha), it sucks but you'll find it from time to time!
