The Don is close to bursting it's banks in Rotherham beside the Nellie Denes. This was sent by a listener called Brian. Send your pictures to south.yorkshire@bbc.co.uk

I got soaked from head to toe on the way to work, at least I thought of taking a change of clothes with me so I was dry at work and on the way back put the wet clothes back on and decided I'd sing Singing in the Rain (while my colleagues pretended they don't know me... ;P). I was one of the lucky ones, both my trams came just fine, but I just got a text from a friend who's going to Hillsborough... he's still in the tram... another one is stuck on the bus at shalesmoor... :O

I would have thought in a country where it rains so much you guys would be a lot more prepared... I guess you're not used to heavy rain though, plus the ground is already wet and can't take any more...
