In light of the possibility that you may be conversing with someone who is under the age of 18, I thought i t would be a good idea for you to state your age.

And perhaps it would be a good idea to somehow mark those who are of a tender age so we can address them "appropriately". Also you may wish to state other information you feel may be pertinent...

My point here is that I probably would approach a situation quite differently with a child than I would with an adult.. and rightfully so.

If someone blasted my 13yr old son, I would be rather upset. And some topics in general or areas within sites (ie: a bar or pub) are probably not suitable for children.. there are certain things in the US as litigable damage and best-effort responsibilities for site owners .. just thought I would mention this as it is probably pertinent to this site as well.

In the UK we call them if you're gonna play with the big boys be willing to take the flack, if you come back for more your one of us!

They should be marked somehow so we know what we're dealing with and adress them accordingly. I mean if you were an outside observer.. and didn't know someone was just a teen on here and read the posts.. well it would discredit the site quite a bit.
On the otherhand.. if you knew they were an "inquisitive minor".. you would also know that they are probably going to act a certain way and the seniors would rib them a certain way.. it takes on a WHOLE different tone. Remember, globally we have no idea who is a kid and friends with whom...
Maybe this next to their names..
or highlight them in bright pink.. or something.
