I'm a mod on another site.... and the only way I keep on top of things is with my new posts button, to bring up the last threads in all sections since I was last logged in.

Just wondering if there was any reason this site didn't have one?

we have a "new post" function, the buttons turn blue and the text gets bold when there's a new post

what forum is it and who's it made by? vb? php?

we have a todays posts function in the top menu which will stay blue for 3 days then mark it as read!

But I've had my own php forum before that had that function too.
