I think Job Centres all take the **** out of the unemployed to some extent though. I work in the pretty affluent area of Leeds near a lot of bank HQs where people walk round smoking thick cigars wearing expensive suits and flashing the cash... guess where the Job Centre also is...
They will do, especially in the impoverished areas as well when the people that work behind the counter think that they are better than the ones who are trying to seek employment, especially in the unskilled workforce sector. You would think in that circumstance that people would be slightly more lenient and sympathetic, but unfortunately they can be worse.
